The Medal for Effective Cooperation with Emergency Situations Bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan consists of a convex eight-pointed star, 50 mm in diameter, cast from bronze and gilded. Two circular plaques are set in the center of the star. The first circular plaque is covered with green enamel, while the second, central circular plaque is covered with dark blue enamel. The emblem of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is depicted on a circular plaque covered with dark blue enamel, set over a wreath woven from laurel leaves. The background of the plaque features raised rays. The plaques are edged with delicate decorative elements. Between the borders of the first and second plaques, the words “FOR EFFECTIVE COOPERATION WITH EMERGENCY SITUATIONS BODIES” are inscribed on a green enamel background. A composition made up of elements of national ornament is placed between the contours of the points of the eight-pointed star and the decorative contours of the first circular plaque.
