The Honorary Distinction of the Flemish Community (Ereteken van de Vlaamse Gemeenschap) is an order of merit established by the Flemish Government and awarded from 2015 at the Flemish Community’s Day (11 July) at Errera House, the official residence of the Minister-President of the Flemish Government. The distinctions honor deserving individuals who, “through their work, are important to the image of Flanders.”
At first, a distinction was made between an honorary distinction and a grand honorary distinction, but this distinction was abolished in 2019.
