Francysk Skaryna Medal

The Medal of Francysk Skaryna is a state award in the National Awards System of Belarus (democratic forces), developed by the Pahonia Heraldic Council for the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus. It is intended to recognize citizens for outstanding services and significant contributions to the development of Belarusian science, education, and culture. It was formally approved on 16 November 2024 by a resolution of Cabinet Head Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.

The medal is regarded as an alternative successor, cleared of discredit, to the original Medal of Francysk Skaryna, which was established in 1989 in the Byelorussian SSR.
