History

The Victory Medal (Medalha da Vitória) is a Brazilian award presented to veterans of World War I. Since a second Brazilian Victory Medal was established after World War II, the 1919 Victory Medal later became known as the “1914–1918 Victory Medal” (Medalha da Vitória 1914-1918).
