Feuerwehr-Ehrenzeichen (Sachsen)

The Fire Service Decoration of the Free State of Saxony (Feuerwehr-Ehrenzeichen des Freistaates Sachsen) is an award bestowed for active service in the Volunteer Fire Brigade. It has been awarded in its new classification of grades since 5 June 2018. It may be awarded to any volunteer fire service member after the requisite period of active service. The version in the form of a pin cross is also a “decoration for bravery” for courageous and resolute conduct in the event of a fire, as well as for exceptional services in fire protection.
