The Cross of the XXV Years of Peace (Cruz de los XXV Años de Paz), or Cross of the Twenty-Five Years of Peace, popularly known as Franco's Peace Medal, was a Spanish decoration established and awarded during 1964 to commemorate the twenty-five years since the end of the Spanish Civil War. It was awarded to active-duty military personnel and veteran combatants from the “Nationalist side” by the General Secretariat of the National Movement, the single party of the Francoist regime. It was part of the “XXV Years of Peace Campaign,” launched in 1964 to provide new legitimacy for Francisco Franco's dictatorship.
