Gold Medal of Navarre

The Gold Medal of Navarre (Medalla de Oro de Navarra) is the highest distinction awarded by the Government of Navarre. It was established by Agreement of the Provincial Council of Navarre on August 10, 1973, and is currently governed by Regional Decree 290/1998, of September 28.

It is usually awarded annually and presented on the occasion of Navarre Day, around December 3. It is intended to reward individuals, institutions, entities, or groups whose merits in defending, promoting, or fostering the interests of Navarre are recognized by society as a whole.
