The Civil Order of Maria Victoria (Orden Civil de María Victoria) was established on 7 July 1871 by King Amadeo of Spain in honor of his wife, Maria Victoria, and was awarded to Spaniards and foreigners for outstanding achievements in the fields of art and science, literature, and industry. The awards had already been discontinued in 1873.
