The Commemorative Medal of the Centenary of the Cortes of Cádiz, the Constitution of 1812 and the Siege of Cádiz is a Spanish decoration consisting of a circular medal, from whose sides project three civic crowns and an anchor, arranged in a cross. On the obverse is an equestrian figure of General Alburquerque, with the inscription ALBURQUERQUE and the municipal coats of arms of Cádiz and San Fernando. The reverse shows an allegory of the Constitution—a matron holding the tablets of that law—and the legend EXIRENUM PROPUGNACULUM HISPANIAE AUTONOMICE · POLITICAL CONSTITUTION OF THE SPANISH MONARCHY.
