The Agricultural Medal of Honour [médaille d’honneur agricole] is a French decoration intended to reward the length of service of anyone employed in the agricultural sector or related industries, whose main source of income comes from this occupation.
It should not be confused with the Order of Agricultural Merit [Mérite agricole], which is a ministerial order.
The awarding of the Agricultural Medal of Honour is governed by Decree No. 84.1110 of 11 December 1984, amended by Decree No. 2001-740 of 23 August 2001 and Decree No. 2007-259 of 27 February 2007.
