Médaille d'honneur des eaux et forêts

The Medal of Honour for Water and Forests (Médaille d’honneur des eaux et forêts) is a French distinction established in 1883; it was originally called the “Forest Medal of Honour” (Médaille d’honneur forestière). It rewards forestry personnel of the departmental directorates for Territories, the National Forestry Office, the National Office for Hunting and Wildlife, and the National Forest Inventory.
