Order of the Honey bee

The Order of the Honey Fly [Ordre de la Mouche à miel] is a parody of an order of chivalry established by Louise-Bénédicte de Bourbon-Condé, Duchess of Maine, in 1703. The order was intended to bind to her person the court of artists, writers and politicians whom she had then gathered at her château in Sceaux.
