The Order of the Red Banner (Georgian: „წითელი დროშის ორდენი“) was the first order of the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic. Established in 1923, the socialist order had a single class and for a time was the only military and civilian decoration of the People’s Republic of Georgia.
As the Soviet Union came to be governed in an increasingly centralized manner, the orders of the union republics disappeared.
