The Commemorative Insignia for Military Support to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, or Ukraine Insignia [Oekraïne-embleem], is an insignia instituted by the Dutch Minister of Defence as a token of recognition for defence personnel who contributed to supporting Ukrainian military personnel after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The Ukraine Insignia is awarded to a defence employee who, on or after 24 February 2022, while carrying out military duties, having been specifically assigned and released for that purpose, contributed to or participated in military support to the Ukrainian Armed Forces for at least 30 consecutive days or 45 days cumulatively.
The Ukraine Insignia is awarded on behalf of the Minister of Defence by the commander of the operational command, with regard to the personnel under their command. The insignia may also be awarded posthumously.
