The Norwegian Armed Forces Medal for Fallen in Action (Forsvarets medalje for falne i strid) is a Norwegian military medal awarded to personnel in the Norwegian Armed Forces who have been killed in combat or under combat-like circumstances. The medal is awarded posthumously and presented to the next of kin. It was established on 1 January 2005 as the Norwegian Armed Forces Medal for Fallen and Wounded in Action, but was later split into two, with the Norwegian Armed Forces Medal for Wounded in Action becoming a separate medal.
