Sivilforsvarsmedaljen

The Civil Defence Medal (Sivilforsvarsmedaljen) is a Norwegian medal awarded for service in Civil Defence or for meritorious assistance to the agency. The medal was instituted on 6 November 2003 and is administered by Civil Defence. It is one of several agency medals in Civil Defence and ranks below the Civil Defence Cross of Honour and the Civil Defence Medal with Laurel Branch, which is a separate award. The medal is worn on the Civil Defence uniform and is also approved for wear on Norwegian military uniforms. The statutes were last revised on 16 September 2020.
