The Order of the White Lotus is an award of Kalmykia, established by Resolution No. 81-IX of the Parliament of the Republic of Kalmykia dated August 7, 1993. It was originally called the Order “For Services to the Republic of Kalmykia—Khalmg Tangch.” The order was designed by Jirgal Mongolovich Khartskhaev, an Honored Artist of the Republic of Kalmykia.
