The Commemorative Medal for the 1913 War (Споменица на рат 1913. године), or the Commemorative Medal for the Serbian-Bulgarian War of 1913, was a decoration of the Kingdom of Serbia and the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. The medal was established on 25 November 1913 to commemorate the Second Balkan War, in which Serbia was victorious. It was awarded to all those who took part and contributed to the war effort through their actions. More than 400,000 examples of this decoration were awarded upon its establishment.
The designer of the medal is not formally known, but it is assumed to have been the artist Đorđe Čarapić. In appearance, the medal represented a certain vengeful allusion to the commemorative medal for the war with Bulgaria of 1885–86, which Serbia lost. The law also provided for the awarding of certificates, but because the First World War broke out soon afterward, this was not carried out, and no certificate awarded with the medal is known to exist. The first and largest series of medals was produced by the Swiss firm Huguenin Brothers, while the second, smaller series was produced at the Paris workshop of Artus Bertrand.
