The “Excellent Driver” badge was a military breast badge that served as an award for especially distinguished drivers in the automobile troops and motor transport units of the Red Army. It was established on 8 July 1943.
Drivers awarded the “Excellent Driver” breast badge were also presented with an “Excellent Driver” emblem to be installed on the glass in the upper-right part of the vehicle’s cab.
