“Tourist of the USSR” was a title in the USSR and the corresponding breast badge of distinction. The badge was awarded after meeting the standards and completing a sports tourism trip. It was the first symbol of participation in tourism, approved on 26 March 1939 by the All-Union Committee for Physical Culture and Sports under the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR.
