Generalski pečatni prstan (Slovenska vojska)

The General's Signet Ring (Generalski pečatni prstan) is a commemorative award of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia, in the form of a signet ring. It is awarded by the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia, though it is usually presented by the President of the Republic of Slovenia, who is the Commander-in-Chief of the Slovenian Armed Forces.

In accordance with the Rules on Awards of the Ministry of Defence, a member of the military receives a general's signet ring upon promotion to the rank of major general. On the inside, it has “the date of promotion to general rank engraved. On the outer left side is engraved the insignia of membership in the Slovenian Armed Forces; on the outer right side of the ring are engraved crossed swords, and on top is a late Gothic shield. The general's signet ring weighs 20 g and is made of 14-carat yellow gold, while the late Gothic shield is made of white gold”.
