The Nishan al-Aila (Husainid House Order) was established in 1835 by Mustafa Pasha-Bey, the bey of Tunis.
The order was worn around the neck on the ribbon of the Order of Glory. The ribbon of the Order of Glory was yellow with two red stripes on each side. The badge of the Husainid House Order was a round star bearing diamond rays. A diamond aigrette was attached as a suspension.
The order, which always had a single class, was awarded until 1958 and abolished by the Republic of Tunisia in 1959. In addition to members of the Bey's family, prime ministers, foreign ministers, and foreign princes were awarded this order.
