Nagrudniy znak Zbroynikh Sil Ukrayini "Za znishchennya vorozhoyi aviatsiynoyi tekhniki"

The Ukrainian Armed Forces Badge “For the Destruction of Enemy Aircraft” (Нагрудний знак Збройних Сил України «За знищення ворожої авіаційної техніки») was established by Order No. 130 of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, dated 5 May 2022, “On sleeve insignia and badges of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the destruction (capture) of enemy equipment,” which amended Order No. 411 of 23 December 2021, “On honorary badges of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” The badge was established against the background of the full-scale military aggression of the Russian Federation, in order to reward servicemembers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who distinguished themselves on the battlefield by destroying or capturing enemy aircraft.
