Veteran MVS Ukrayini

Veteran of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (Ветеран Міністерства внутрішніх справ України) is a special status established by the Ukrainian law “On the Status of Veterans of Military Service, Veterans of Internal Affairs Bodies and Certain Other Persons and Their Social Protection.” It applies to employees who have served flawlessly in the internal affairs bodies for 25 or more years calculated in calendar years, or 30 or more years calculated on preferential terms (of which at least 20 years constitute service calculated in calendar years), and who have been discharged to the reserve or retired in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, the former Soviet Union, or the CIS states.

Veterans of internal affairs bodies are granted benefits and presented with the “Veteran of Internal Affairs Bodies” badge.
