The Order of Jaloliddin Manguberdi ["Jaloliddin Manguberdi" ordeni] is one of the state awards of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the country’s highest military award. It is awarded to military personnel in command positions who have demonstrated outstanding military skill, heroism, and courage in defending the country’s independence, its borders, and the soil of their homeland, and in protecting it as the apple of their eye, and who have made a major contribution to strengthening the state’s defense capability. It was established on August 30, 2000. The order is made of 925-fineness silver and has the shape of a pentagon from which faceted, silver-colored rays emanate. At the center of the order, in a circle bordered by a white ring, is a raised, gilded image of Jaloliddin Manguberdi against a background of emanating rays. The order is worn on the right side of the chest, after the Order of Amir Temur.
