Medalla Naval Almirante Sebastián Francisco de Miranda

The Admiral Sebastián Francisco de Miranda Naval Medal [Medalla Naval Almirante Sebastián Francisco de Miranda] is a decoration of the Bolivarian Navy established in 2006, which may be awarded to military and civilian personnel, both nationals and foreigners.

It is intended to reward distinguished and special services rendered to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), as well as individuals who have rendered important services in its support and distinguished themselves in their support of the Navy.

It was named in honor of the “Forerunner of American Emancipation,” Generalissimo and Admiral Francisco de Miranda, and is awarded in a single class.
