The Tai Civil Merit Order (Ordre du Mérite civil Taï) is the only civil honorary distinction intended to recognize merits acquired in service to the people of the Tai Country. It was created in 1950 by the President of the Tai Federation, His Highness the Lord Deo Van Long.
