The Resistance Order is a type of order of the State of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam), first established under Decree No. 216/SL of 20 August 1948 by the President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Under the Law on Emulation and Commendation (promulgated on 26 November 2003), the Resistance Order is no longer included in the State of Vietnam’s hierarchy of awards.
