The Order of Service is a Yemeni decoration intended for military personnel.
The order was established on January 2, 1973, by North Yemen. After the reunification with South Yemen on May 22, 1990, the decoration remained in existence with the creation of a new version.
The insignia consists of an eight-pointed star bearing at its center a round medallion with a map of the Republic of Yemen and an Arabic inscription giving the name of the country and the order. At the upper point of the star, where the ribbon is attached, there is a five-pointed star topped by a torch. The ribbon is yellow with two blue stripes and a red stripe in the center.
