The Sattar Khan Order was established in 1946 and awarded by the Azerbaijan National Government to 10 people who participated in the national-democratic movement, on September 12, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Firqeh. After the dissolution of the National Government, the awarding of the order was also discontinued.
The award ceremony was recorded in the film On the Other Side of the Araz.
