The Medal of the Public Force (Médaille de la Force Publique) is a decoration of the Republic of Cameroon.
This medal is awarded to military personnel and police officers on the occasion of service anniversaries and also for faithful service.
According to the regulations, only employees who possess the required qualifications and are particularly deserving may be nominated. The recipient must have completed at least 10 years of military or police service and must not have been disciplined during that time. The medal may also be awarded to departing employees for ten particularly meritorious years of service. Despite these restrictions, each year 3% of the personnel concerned are awarded this medal.
The Medal of the Public Force is worn on the left breast after the Medal for Valor.
