The Czechoslovak Jánošík Medal [Československá Jánošíkova medaile] is a medal of merit awarded for bravery, courage, and military (partisan) service in the struggle against fascist aggressors and their allies. The medal was established by a government regulation of 14 June 1946, Government Regulation No. 154/1946 Coll. The medal had its own statutes, which were supplemented by Regulation No. 30/1949 Coll.
The medal is struck in bronze and was designed by academic sculptor Alois Sopr. The ribbon was designed by B. Beran.
