The Commemorative Badge of the Second National Resistance [Pamětní odznak druhého národního odboje] is a commemorative decoration established by the Czechoslovak government on 14 May 1946 by a Ministry of the Interior notice dated 26 June 1946 (Official Gazette No. 116/1946). The medal was intended for citizens who took part in the resistance with a weapon in hand outside organized groups or military units. The commemorative badge was awarded by the Minister of the Interior, who could transfer this authority to the chairmen of the provincial national committees. It was awarded only once and could also be awarded posthumously.
The medal is struck in bronze, was designed by sculptor Alois Sopr, and was presented with a certificate of award.
