The Badge of the Czechoslovak Partisan (Odznak Československého partyzána) is a commemorative decoration established by Government Decree No. 621 of August 9, 1946. As a decoration and an award, it could also be presented to foreign nationals. The reverse is fitted with a screw and nut for attachment to a uniform or civilian clothing. The decoration was worn without a ribbon, and no small ribbon bar was established. In addition to this standard decoration, there is also a half-size badge and a miniature in the form of a small badge, with a pin on the back for fastening to the lapel of civilian clothing. It was prescribed that this decoration be worn “in natura” on military uniforms.
The decoration is struck in bronze and patinated to the color of old silver. It was designed by academic sculptor Josef Malejovský.
