The Order of February 25 (Řád 25. února) is a former state decoration presented under Government Decree No. 34/1949 Coll. It was established as a reward for citizens who had made outstanding contributions to completing the Communists’ victory in February 1948. For the same merits, the order could also be awarded to military and similar units, groups of people, and symbols. It had three classes. Recipients of this decoration included, for example, Ostrava mayor Josef Lampa, academician František Trávníček, and others.
