The Order of Victorious February was a high Czechoslovak state decoration awarded from 1973 to 1989 for exceptional merits in the communist workers’ movement and the socialist development of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. Approximately 1,000 people received the order, as did some state-owned companies. The first recipients in 1973 were leading figures of the Normalization regime.
The first presentation of this order took place on 20 February 1973 at Prague Castle.
