The Sokolov Memorial Medal [Sokolovská pamětní medaile] is a commemorative medal established on 5 March 1948 to mark the fifth anniversary of the Battle of Sokolovo (February 1943). The medal was awarded to all surviving, fallen and deceased members of the 1st Czechoslovak Independent Field Battalion in the USSR, as well as to the battalion itself. An award certificate was also presented with the medal.
The medal is made of bronze and its artistic design was created in the studio of academic sculptor Berta Brandejsová.
