The Honorary Badge for Merits in Socialist Military Education [Ehrennadel für Verdienste in der sozialistischen Wehrerziehung] was a non-state award presented within the remit of the Ministry of National Defence in the German Democratic Republic (GDR). It was established in three classes on 7 July 1975 by the Minister of National Defence, Heinz Hoffmann, under Order No. 030/9/001.
