The Military Invalids’ Badge (Hadirokkant jelvény) was established in 1931 by Hungarian Regent and head of state Miklós Horthy for soldiers wounded in the line of duty. Like the German Wound Badge, it served to identify Hungarian soldiers who had been so seriously wounded during the First World War that they qualified for invalid status.
