Medal for 18 November 1963

The Medal of the 18 November 1963 Movement (نوط حركة 18 تشرين 1963) is one of the Iraqi military decorations. It was awarded to Iraqi Army officers who participated in overthrowing the Baath government and the National Guard militias in 1963, following the Movement of 18 November 1963 and the Iraqi Army’s actions in Baghdad and the other provinces to rein in these militias.

The medal was later abolished after the Baath Party came to power in Iraq in 1968, but many of the military commanders who participated in this movement retained it.
