The Cross for Length of Military Service (Croce per anzianità di servizio militare) is a long-service medal of the Kingdom of Italy that was later adopted by the Italian Republic.
At the beginning of the new century, it replaced the now obsolete Piedmontese-style chevrons on Umbertine uniforms, standardizing decorations on a broader scale in step with the evolution of uniforms.
