The Commemorative Medal for the First Nationwide Census (第一回国勢調査記念章) was a medal of the Empire of Japan, established on June 17, 1921, by Imperial Edict No. 272 of Emperor Taishō. The medal was awarded directly to participants in the census and to those who used their position to support it. The master medallist was the sculptor Shōkichi Hata.
