The “For Distinction in Ensuring Public Order” Medal (Медаль «За отличие в обеспечении правопорядка»; Kazakh: «Құқық тәртібін қамтамасыз етуде үздік шыққаны үшін») is an award of the internal affairs agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, established pursuant to Decree No. 1157 of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan of July 31, 2003, with the aim of enhancing the prestige of service in the internal affairs agencies. By Decree No. 155 of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan of September 30, 2011, new departmental medals were established, including the “For Contribution to Ensuring Public Order” Medal, which replaced the “For Distinction in Ensuring Public Order” Medal.
