Medal "Za otlichie v okhrane Gosudarstvennoy granitsy"

The Medal “For Distinction in the Protection of the State Border” [Медаль «За отличие в охране Государственной границы»] is a departmental award of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was established pursuant to Decree No. 882 of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 27 May 2002, “On Certain Issues concerning the Symbols and Departmental Awards of the National Security Bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.” By Decree No. 155 of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 30 September 2011, amendments were made to the description of the medal.
