The Battle Medal (Golden Eagle) (တိုက်ပွဲတံဆိပ် (ရွှေလင်းယုန်)) is a type of military honor medal of Myanmar. Together with the Battle Medal (Laukkai), it was instituted by the Defense Services Council Special Order No. 17/Special/2015 on October 15, 2015, to honor military personnel of the Myanmar Armed Forces (Army, Navy, and Air Force) who fought and sacrificed their lives, blood, sweat, and bodily parts for Myanmar's independence and the preservation of its sovereignty.
