The Combat Medal (Laukkaing) [တိုက်ပွဲတံဆိပ် (လောက်ကိုင်)] is a military medal awarded in Myanmar. It was established together with the Combat Medal (Golden Eagle) [တိုက်ပွဲတံဆိပ် (ရွှေလင်းယုန်)] on October 15, 2015, by “Defence Services Council Special Order No. 17/Special/2015,” to honor members of the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, and Air Force) who fought, sacrificing their lives, blood, sweat, and body parts, to preserve Myanmar’s independence and sovereignty.
