The commemorative badge of Operation Tempest (Odznaka pamiątkowa Akcji „Burza”) was awarded to Home Army soldiers for participating in Operation Tempest.
It was established on 21 April 1994 within the veterans’ community.
The designer was Mieczysław Filipczak, a soldier of the Lviv Home Army.
The badge was known in independent circles from 1984 and was later taken over by the Office for Veterans and Victims of Oppression.
The badges were made at the PiK Engraving Workshop in Warsaw.
A separate decoration is the Commemorative Cross of Operation Tempest.
