Badge "Well-deserved for Warsaw"

“Meritorious for Warsaw” [Zasłużony dla Warszawy] was a distinction accompanied by a badge (called the “distinction pin”), awarded from 1998 to 2014 to individuals and organizational units whose activities for Warsaw were outstanding, particularly in the social, scientific and educational spheres. The distinction could also be awarded for individual acts that saved people’s lives and health.

Since 2017, this distinction has continued under the name Honorary Badge of Merit for Warsaw.
