The Cross on the Silesian Ribbon of Valor and Merit (Krzyż na Śląskiej Wstędze Waleczności i Zasługi) was a Polish state military decoration awarded in 1921–1924, as well as a commemorative badge awarded from 1927. It was intended for Silesian insurgents. On the occasion of the ceremonial celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Silesian Uprising, all veterans of the January Uprising of 1863 received the decoration. On 23 April 1936, the president of the Warsaw branch of the Association of Silesian Insurgents decorated the coffin of Franciszek Stankiewicz, who had died two days earlier, with the Cross.
