The Honorary Badge “For Exemplary Work in the Health Service” [Odznaka honorowa „Za wzorową pracę w służbie zdrowia”] is a Polish ministerial decoration in the form of a badge. It was established by a resolution of the Council of Ministers on 18 July 1950. Detailed regulations on the procedure for submitting nominations and the appearance of the badge were set out in an ordinance of the Minister of Health dated 14 November 1950.
The appearance of the badge was completely changed by a resolution of the Council of Ministers dated 5 March 1986, which also altered to some extent the rules for awarding it, and the name was changed from the badge “For Exemplary Work in the Health Service.” The regulations concerning the establishment of the badge remained in force until 2000.
